![]() ![]() ![]() We've also tested the file in several other photo-editing programs like Photoshop and Lightroom Classic and none had any issues opening up the file. If you reach out to them, I'd recommend you tell them that Capture One 2021 doesn't have this issue. ![]() I'd recommend you reach out to them and ask them. I don't know if this can be some issue with v2022 reading the metadata but Capture One Support should be able to determine that. It's only Capture One 2022 having this issue. Interestingly, Capture One 2021 has no issues opening up the same DNG and it doesn't open up black in there. We've tested the DNG processed from DeNoise AI out of the ORF image in both Capture One 2022 & Capture One 2021. After several tests we run, it seems like the conflict is on Capture One side. In the LR Basic menu, these are replaced with a few generic profiles. Denoise sits in the Detail palette, just like Lightroom’s original noise reduction feature. The lower noise levels and improved detail achieved by Lightroom’s new tool is clear. I contacted Topaz Labs and after a few days and a few back and forth emails this is what they told me: "Hi Andres, The moment I select Photo/Edit in Topaz DeNoise, the regular stored camera profiles (Adobe RGB, etc, and more importantly, my custom camera profiles see attached snippets) disappear. On the left the Raw was treated with Lightroom’s current manual noise reduction tool compared with on the right the new AI-powered Denoise with an amount of 88. I use capture one as my main raw editor, I am sending the image to Denoise AI but when I get it back to capture one it is just an under exposed black image. Don’t miss you – tickets and more info at bit.ly/3BqMWvN – see you online.I am having problems when I use capture one and Topaz Denoise. The Lightroom Conference kicks off this afternoon with a special pre-conference session I’m teaching on “Lightroom Classic for Absolute Beginners” – then starting Tuesday, it’s two full days, two full training tracks, amazing instructors, and so much to learn (plus, the entire conference is archived for a full year for you to stream on demand). Next time you have a noise image, give this a try – I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the result. You can see it did a pretty nice job removing the noise (better than anything we had built in within Lightroom or Photoshop before.Ībove: here’s a zoomed-in look where you can see it did a really nice job of holding the detail. I used Compare mode to show this because when it does its thing, it creates a new separate Raw DNG image, so you have your original and a new file). STEP FOUR: Here’s a zoomed-in before and after so you can see the results. There’s an amount slider so you can increase or decrease the amount of noise reduction you’d like to apply, and it also shows the estimated time it will take to apply this fix (in this case, it estimates 55 seconds). STEP THREE: The Enhance Preview window appears (seen above), and Denoise will be selected by default (as seen here). STEP TWO: Scroll down to the Detail panel, and at the bottom of the panel, under Noise Reduction, click on ‘Denoise’ (as shown circled here in red). STEP ONE: Here’s our original Raw image, and at this size, you don’t see the noise very much, but if you zoom in to 100%, there’s noise a-plenty! Here’s my first look at it and how to use it: Accomplish any desired develop edits, any library (metadata edits) in LrC. That may be your problem, try the normal workflow: Import into LrC. export the file to Topaz Denoise for editing and 3. In the most recent update to Lightroom, Adobe included an AI-powered noise reduction feature that works really well (they are tearing it up with their AI stuff). Import image to Lightroom Classic > Find file in Finder > Open RAW immage in DeNoise AI > Export from DeNoise as DNG to same folder as input > Sync folder in Lighrroom. I have same issueupgraded to new Topaz denoise and now when 1.I choose edit in Topaz in lightroom develop and 2. ![]()
